Oct. 5: Rally for Tenant-Led Solutions

San Francisco is in a rent emergency. But tenants are organizing for change.
In partnership with our allied coalition, the SF Anti-Displacement Coalition (SFADC), we’re fighting to stop evictions, lower rents, and put tenants over profit.

Join us on Monday, October 5th, 12–1 pm at 907 Valencia for a rally on tenant-led solutions to the rent emergency! Organized tenants from across the city will lift up our solutions and show our collective strength.

Oct. 6: "Care vs. Criminalization" Community Panel

Tuesday, October 6, 6:30-8 pm at Medicine for Nightmares (3036 24th St.)
Join a discussion with homeless rights advocates! REP-SF member, the Coalition on Homelessness, is hosting a hybrid community panel, “Care vs. Criminalization: Rethinking Our Street Response to Homelessness,” with formerly homeless folks, public health workers, and civil rights advocates to discuss San Francisco's current street response to homelessness and reimagining a new approach.
This panel will be translated into Spanish with live interpretation via provided headsets.

Oct. 7: Charter Reform Town Hall
|
Wednesday, October 7 at El Rio (3158 Mission St). Doors open at 5 pm. Event time is 5:30–7 pm. Join our allies, the SF People's Budget Coalition, SF Propel, and the Phoenix Project for a charter reform town hall! Learn how the November election could impact our city charter (aka constitution) and what it means for the future of San Francisco.

Oct. 13: District 10 Candidate Forum

Tuesday, October 13, 8–10 am at the Southeast Community Center (1550 Evans Ave.)
REP-SF member, the Housing Rights Committee (HRCSF) coordinates the Citywide HUD Alliance, which is co-hosting a District 10 Candidate Forum to ensure that the next D10 supervisor is accountable to the issues of HUD tenants.
Join the conversation, built directly by HUD housing residents and SF hyperlocal building trade contractors, to discuss housing, displacement, local contracts, and jobs in the D10 community. Submit a question here!
