We're sharing REP-SF’s endorsements on the local and state ballot measures for the November 3 Election! Join us in voting for truly affordable housing and rejecting harms to our communities.

LOCAL MEASURES
SUPPORT AFFORDABLE HOUSING INITIATIVES:
Join us to vote YES on three measures that will significantly increase the City’s ability to fund and build the affordable housing that our communities need.
YES ON PROP B: Public Bank
Prop B creates the legal framework for a Public Bank that will prioritize funding affordable housing, small business development, and climate sustainability. A public bank will serve the needs of San Franciscans and make money available for things our communities need that commercial banks don't prioritize!
YES ON PROP C: Housing Trust Fund
Prop C raises up to $125 million annually for affordable housing. This will help the City deliver more affordable housing that we desperately need.
YES ON PROP I: Affordable Housing Guarantee Act
Prop I ensures that existing tax revenue on real estate sales of properties $10 million or more goes to fund affordable housing and tenant protections. No new taxes. This is money we already raise from an existing tax! Prop I guarantees that these voter-approved funds are actually spent on affordable housing, innovative social housing for all income levels, rent relief, and eviction defense to keep families housed!
OPPOSE THE BILLIONAIRES’ POWER GRAB:
Join us in voting to reject three propositions that aim to increase billionaires’ power and undermine democracy. Billionaires are spending millions of dollars on these propositions to lock tenants and workers out of the political process.
NO ON PROP D: Increases Signatures for Ballot Initiatives
Prop D quadruples the number of signatures and increases the number of Supervisors' votes needed to place an initiative on the ballot. Only billionaires will be able to get a measure on the ballot.
NO ON PROP E: Reduces Oversight for City Contracts
Prop E reduces oversight over city contracts and consolidates executive power. This is a recipe for insider dealing and corruption.
NO ON PROP F: Increases the Mayor’s Power
Prop F gives the Mayor significantly more power over departments and appointments, which weakens checks and balances. It allows the Mayor to reorganize the government and hire and fire without cause.
STATE MEASURES
YES ON PROP 1: $11B Affordable Housing Bond
Raises $11 billion to build and preserve affordable housing in California.
YES ON PROP 40: Billionaire Tax
Charges billionaires a one-time 5% wealth tax to fund healthcare, schools, and food assistance for low-income Californians.
NO ON PROP 41: Anti-Billionaire Tax Measure
This measure aims to block the Billionaire Tax. It will cancel out Prop 40 if both win, and if Prop 41 gets more votes than Prop 40.
NO ON PROP 42: Anti-Billionaire Tax Measure
Bans new personal property and asset taxes. This measure aims to block the Billionaire Tax. It will cancel out Prop 40 if it gets more votes.
NO ON PROP 43: Makes It Harder to Pass New Taxes
Requires a 66% vote to approve citizen-initiated tax increases. Makes it more difficult to raise any taxes to fund essential services like housing, transit, and healthcare.
NO ON PROP 45: Weakens Environmental Protections (CEQA)
Severely weakens protections against pollution and environmental impacts caused by new housing, transportation, and other projects.
