June 2026: Vote to Make Corporations Pay Their Fair Share!
|
As ballots have started to hit mailboxes, we're sharing REP-SF's positions on the local ballot measures for the June 2 Election! We’re voting NO on Prop C & YES on Prop D to make corporations pay their fair share!
Companies benefiting most from San Francisco’s economy should contribute more to the public good, supporting services and housing investments that make the city more livable for everyone.
BIG BUSINESSES SHOULD PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE! VOTE NO ON C AND YES ON D!
Please share widely with your communities and on your social media!

REP-SF In the News: Budget Hearing on Family Affordability
|
With Cost of Living Rising, Cuts to Affordability Programs Put San Francisco on Edge, KQED, April 23, 2026: REP-SF featured! KQED published an article about the SF People's Budget Coalition hearing and press conference on family affordability. During her presentation about the Family Zoning Plan, REP-SF organizer Jeantelle Laberinto said: "The family zoning plans also encourage developers to build small units, and the requirements for larger units are insufficient. Despite being touted as a main solution to the housing needs of families, the recently passed family zoning plan under our current housing element is not going to deliver the affordable housing our families need."

Stop the Tax Giveaway! Protect Affordable Housing Funds!
|
In February, Mayor Daniel Lurie & Supervisor Bilal Mahmood announced a tax cut for wealthy real estate investors. As rents climb higher than ever and more than 17,000 affordable housing units languish in the pipeline due to lack of funding, they have proposed a repeal of Prop I. Since San Francisco voters passed Prop I in 2020, it has delivered more than $200 million for affordable housing, rent relief, and building preservation with real results. These funds have kept families housed, protected our communities, and supported new affordable housing opportunities.
Join REP-SF and our allied coalition, SFADC, in taking action: Send a letter to the Board of Supervisors telling them to reject this proposal to cut taxes on the richest corporate real estate owners at the expense of working San Franciscans. Please share this letter-writing campaign with your community! Watch & share our video!

Join us at the Planning Commission Hearing on Thursday, June 25 (noon, City Hall Rm 400) to show appreciation for Commissioners Kathrin Moore and Gilbert Williams. Show up to appreciate Commissioner Moore for her 20 years of service on the Planning Commission! And give some flowers to Commissioner Gilbert Williams, as this will be his final hearing on the Commission!
